General

  • Do you have a dress code?

    We’re not the fashion police here – we have no dress code, everyone is welcome no matter your footwear!

  • Is your venue wheelchair accessible?

    Of course! We have wheelchair access for levels 1, 2 and 3 via our lift with our accessible bathroom is located on level 2.

  • Are minors allowed in the venue?

    No need for a babysitter! Minors are allowed on levels 1, 2 and 3 of The Republic and in our outdoor dining space. So you can give the sitter a night off and enjoy dinner with the whole family.

    Please note however, no minors are allowed in our Sports Bar due to licensing.

Bookings

  • How long is my booking?

    All group bookings are 2 hours long. Fancy staying a little bit longer? Make your way down to our ground floor for available unreserved seating options after your booking has finished.

  • Do you take group bookings?

    Yes we do! We have group bookings available for Taylor’s Rooftop and Inna Lounge.

  • Can we split bills for our group?

    Looking to split the total? No worries at all! We can do split bills for group bookings. Please ask our friendly staff to assist.

  • What happens if I’m late for my booking?

    We all run late sometimes. Your table will be held for 15 minutes past your booking time. If you’re going to be later than this, please call our friendly staff on (02) 9252 6522.

  • How far in advance can I book a table?

    We love a pre-planner! You can make your booking up to 6 weeks in advance.

Food & Beverage

  • Do you have takeaway food or drinks available?

    We do! We can do a range of woodfired pizza’s for takeaway.

  • Do you have daily specials?

    Yes, we do have daily specials! Check out what we’re serving up this week in venue.

  • Can I bring in outside food or drinks?

    No, outside food or drinks are not permitted on site, apart from a celebration cake.

Visiting Us

  • What are the closest transport options to the venue?

    We’ve got a range of transport options near us.

    We’re a 5 minute walk from either Circular Quay or Wynyard Station. We’re also a 3 minute walk from Wynyard Light Rail Station. Alternatively, we’re a 10-minute walk from Martin Place Station.

  • Do you have onsite parking?

    We don’t have onsite parking at the venue, there is street parking outside the venue or the closest parking station is Wilson Parking, Australia Square.

Other

  • Can I decorate my table?

    Yes, you’re more than welcome to decorate your table! Balloons can be brought onsite however, glitter is strictly forbidden.

  • Do you have live music?

    Yes, Thursday – Saturday nights there is DJ’s on Taylor’s rooftop and Thursday & Friday we have live acoustic in our Sports Bar on Ground Floor. Please stay up to date with what’s happening at the venue by going to the What’s On section of our website.

  • Do you have live sports?

    Yes, please click here for the available sport options to view in our Ground Floor Sports Bar.
